Operation:
The Dimmer DM-400L/N has the following control features:
- Rotary potentiometer for light intensity adjustment with integrated (ON/OFF) button for switching the lighting on and off.
- Input for wired remote control from one or more parallel-connected push buttons of any type and manufacturer.
Operation Mode Selection (Phase-Cut Dimming):
The DM-400L/N with Phase-Cut Dimming operation gives you the ability to select between Leading Edge and Trailing Edge operation according to the type of electrical load you have installed.
The selection between Leading Edge - Trailing Edge operation and vice versa is achieved by pressing and holding the device's integrated ON/OFF button for 6 seconds.
Minimum Level Adjustment:
The DM-400L/N gives us the ability to pre-set the minimum brightness point of Dimmable LED lamps if required.
This process is achieved by adjusting a potentiometer (trimmer) which is located on the metal front panel of the product.
Control Loads
Connection:
The Dimmer DM-400L/N has 2 electrical connection methods:
∙ Without Neutral.Connection recommended for any electrical application using dimmable LED lamps.
∙ With Neutral.
This connection is optional and is applied in areas where the 230VAC / 50Hz electrical network is unstable.
* The connection using neutral is also recommended for electrical circuits using "Dimmable Filament" lamps, for linear dimming without flickering.
Safety Instructions
- Electrical equipment can only be installed and assembled by a professional electrician in accordance with the relevant installation standards, guidelines, regulations, safety instructions and accident prevention regulations of the country.
- Violation of these instructions may result in damage to the device, fire or other hazards.
- Risk of electric shock. Do not operate the device without installing the plastic mask and the rotary control knob.
- Risk of electric shock. The device is not suitable for safe disconnection from the main power supply. Even when the device is switched off, the load is not galvanically isolated from the main supply.
- Do not connect non-dimmable lamps, electronic transformers or devices.
- Specifically for dimmable LED lamps, it is recommended to use the same type and manufacturer throughout the circuit.
- Do not connect inductive loads (type "L") such as iron core transformers and electric motors.
